The College of Wooster men's and women's indoor track squads sent three competitors, Tristan Jordan, Rick Drushal, and Jill Berner, to this weekend's All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

Berner set a new Scot record with a vault of 10 feet 11.5 inches in the pole vault, besting her previous best by nearly five inches (10 feet, 6.75 inches), but came three inches short of first-place. Otterbein's Alysha Gossel nabbed the top-spot with a vault of 11 feet, 2.25 inches.

On the men's side, Jordan picked up a seventh-place showing in the triple jump with a total of 40 feet, 7 inches, while Drushal settled for fifth-place in the shot put after a throw of 46 feet, 11.5 inches, just 1.25 inches behind the fourth-place finisher.

Next up for the Scots will be the Greater Cleveland Championships on Friday, Feb. 18, and hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
