Despite dominating the action throughout, the Scots were unable to tally its first goal until the second half. At the 35:52 of the final period, freshman Liz Martin (Cleveland Heights, Ohio / Cleveland Heights) took a cross from sophomore Stephanie Hulke (Basking Ridge, N.J. / Ridge) and headed it by the Lions' Lauren Arrigo for a goal. Just over two minutes later, freshman Jessica Bacon (Rocky River, Ohio / Rocky River) collected her second goal of the season with an assist from Martin.
