2007-08 Returning Letterwinners
A very hard worker who is quick on her feet … Has the ability to translate that scrappiness into becoming a defensive spark for the team and transitioning the ball quickly into the offensive end, according to the coaching staff … A contributing member of Wooster’s track & field team as well … 2006-07: Saw limited varsity action as a freshman guard, playing in two games, both against Lake Erie … Prior to Wooster: Member of Wooster High School’s 2005-06 conference championship team … Totaled five varsity letters with the Generals – two in basketball and three in track … Personal: Born Oct. 2, 1988 … Daughter of Laila Dutton and Richard Aughenbaugh … Majoring in geology with a minor in religious studies … Member of Wooster Christian Fellowship.

The Scots’ lone returning starter … Is a physical guard with a quick first step on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, along with being a consistent 3-ball shooter, according to the coaching staff 2006-07: Named the North Coast Athletic Conference’s co-Newcomer of the Year and received honorable mention on the all-conference team … Averaged 11.8 points – seventh-most in the NCAC … Ranked fifth in the league in free throw percentage (.755; 77-of-102) and was second on the squad in 3-pointers made (33) … Scored in double figures 18 times, including a high of 22 at Kalamazoo (Dec. 30) … A force in other areas as well, adding 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game … Recorded a double-double with 18 points, including 4-of-7 3-pointers, and 10 boards at La Verne (Dec. 19) … Posted six three-assist games and two five-steal games … Prior to Wooster: Special mention All-Ohio as a senior at Avon Lake High School … Helped the Shoregals to the Southwest Conference championship in 2005-06, earning first-team all-league honors for the second season in a row … Two-sport athlete, lettering three years in both basketball and softball … Personal: Born April 30, 1988 … Daughter of Joanie Wenz … Majoring in communication studies.
