  • Brandon Johnson (’09) was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year for the 2005-06 season — the fourth Scot to garner this honor in the past 11 seasons.
  • Matt Schlingman (’05) earned first-team Academic All-American honors for 2004-05 after posting a 3.99 GPA.
  • Kyle Witucky (’06) was one of 16 finalists from all NCAA divisions for the Bob Cousy Award, given annually to the nation's top point guard.
  • James Cooper (’08) became just the third player in NCAC history to earn Player of the Year honors twice (2006 & 2008).
  • James Cooper (’08) became just the second player in school history to score 2,000 points in his career (2,037).
  • Tom Port (’07) and James Cooper (’08) each earned All-American honors in 2005-06 and 2006-07, becoming the 9th and 10th Wooster players to garner that honor.
  • Tom Port (’07) was named NCAC and Great Lakes Region Player of the Year; Steve Moore named NCAC and Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year for 2006-07.
  • Kyle Witucky (’06) became the fourth Scot basketball player to earn a prestigious NCAA postgraduate scholarship since 1995.
  • Former Scots Larry Shyatt (’73) and Scott Duncan (’78) are assistant coaches at Florida and UCLA, respectively.
