While it was shooting for a possible top-three finish, The College of Wooster's golf team had to settle for its second-straight fifth-place showing at the NCAC Tournament that took place Friday and Saturday at Apple Valley Golf Course in Howard, Ohio. Wooster finished the two-round event with 656 strokes, which was 32 more than first-place Ohio Wesleyan (624). Allegheny placed a close second (628), followed by Denison (638) in third and Wittenberg in fourth (646). The Scots stood in fifth place after the first round (329), but were only four shots behind Denison and two behind Wittenberg.
