» Box Score

The College of Wooster field hockey team's 14-game win streak against North Coast Athletic Conference competition came to an end on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 21), with Denison University walking away from Cindy Barr Memorial Field with a 1-0 victory.

Wooster (4-2, 3-1 NCAC) held a 10-6 shot advantage and 8-4 edge in penalty corner opportunities, but could not slip one past Denison 'keeper Sarah Robator, and Jennifer Lacy's unassisted score with 13:15 remaining in the second half held up.

Robator finished with seven saves, while Beth Skelton stopped four Big Red shots.

The Scots will next play a non-conference tilt at Washington & Jefferson College on Wednesday (Sept. 25) at 7 p.m.
