The College of Wooster had six athletes named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team announced the league office on Thursday, highlighted by first-team selections Angela Arnold (Columbus, Ohio / Thomas Worthington), Kelley Hubbell (Vienna, Va. / James Madison), and Anne Leigh (Englewood, Colo. / Cherry Creek).

Arnold earned her third postseason honor after being named second-team in 2003 and honorable mention in 2002. The senior midfielder started every game for the Scots, tallying seven goals and four assists and finishing third on the team in scoring with 18 points. At one point in the season, Arnold recorded 11 points over a five-game span, including assisting on or scoring the game-winning goals in three of those contests.

Returning to the all-conference team after a two-year lay-off, Hubbell earned her second nod as a defender after being selected honorable mention as a freshman. Hubbell was a big part of Wooster's league-leading defense, starting all 19 contests and helping the Scots record six shutouts on the year and hold opponents to just 1.19 goals per game. She also made a team-high seven defensive saves. Hubbell's play was not limited to just the defensive side, as she also tallied three goals and tied for the team-lead with seven assists on the year. Hubbell led the team with 87 shots at the goal and finished second in the conference in shots per game (4.32).

Earning her first all-conference selection, Leigh was one of the top goalkeepers in the league with four shutouts and a 1.17 goals against average. She made 113 saves in 1176:43, allowing a league-low 20 goals and registering a league-best save percentage (.850). In her two years, Leigh has given up just 37 goals in 2,425 minutes (1.07 GAA), while making 216 saves (.854).

Selected second-team all-conference were Lindsay Tingley (Rockville, Md. / Walter Johnson) and Ashley Arnold (Columbus, Ohio / Thomas Worthington), marking the third and second postseason honors of their careers, respectively. Tingley was one of the offensive leaders for the Scots, finishing second on the team with 22 points on eight goals and six assists. The junior forward accounted for nine points over a three-game span, including both scores against league champion Wittenberg University in a 3-2 loss.

Ashley Arnold, along with sister Angela, formed one of the best midfield units in the NCAC. The more defensive-minded Ashley started every match and helped the Scots control the tempo of the game and limit opponents to just 10.7 shots per game at the goal. She also chipped in offensively with three assists and took 24 shots.

Rounding out Wooster's all-conference selections was sophomore forward Anlyn Addis (Ann Arbor, Mich. / Ann Arbor Pioneer) who received honorable mention. Addis was the squad's top-scorer, finishing tied for the team lead in both goals (8) and assists (7) and totaling 23 points. She finished third on the team with 67 shots at the goal and posted two game-winning scores. Addis came on strong at the end of the year, recording three two-goal matches over her last seven contests, including two scores in a 4-1 victory over rival Wittenberg.

Wooster finished the regular season 13-6 overall and 8-4 in the NCAC, tying Kenyon and Oberlin Colleges for second-place. The Scots picked up the four-seed in the conference tournament, but were eliminated by regular season champion Wittenberg in the first round (2-3). The team has posted six consecutive winning seasons since 1998, finishing with at least 13 wins in each of the last five years.
